About Us

HGS Music is a dedicated music school.  We specialize in music education, whether you want to become a professional musician, just play for your own enjoyment, or anything in between.  Owned and operated by musicians, educators and parents, we have been teaching music for over twenty-five years and we love spreading the joy of music.

When you walk through our doors, you will immediately notice a relaxed environment brimming with fun and laughter.  Our brightly colored teaching studios are purposely designed to put our students at ease and make for a great place to learn and play music. 

We take great care in finding the best teachers.  Our studio is staffed with professional musicians who love to teach music.  They are versatile and can teach to the individual needs of each student.  Our teachers are believers in lifelong learning.  We are always talking and learning from each other.  And the staff at HGS Music is large enough to always get students with the right teacher.

Besides our individual lesson program, HGS Music also offers group classes, anchored by our fantastic toddler class, Rock and Roll for the Tiny Soul.  In addition, we also teach other specialized group classes such as Rock Band Class, Musical Theater 101 and our Kids Singing Club. 

We believe that music is good for the heart, mind, and soul.  The only thing better than listening to music is making music!
